Seniors Support Network

This is a new project to help promote the mental health management and recovery of seniors age 60 +. Through an individualized one-on-one case management approach a person’s mental health needs can be effectively assessed and addressed. Seniors Depression / Anxiety workshops and ‘Living a Healthy Lifestyle’ workshops for caregivers, families, and individuals are offered on a regular basis.

What we offer…

Community Support Services

  • Referrals and facilitation of appropriate community supports
  • Advocating
  • Symptom education and management
  • Monitoring of independent living and quality of life
  • Crisis and suicide prevention and management.

Psycho Educational Groups

"Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions" Workshops
A Central East (CCAC) Self Management Training Program.

  • A 6 Week Self Help workshop for individuals, families or caregivers.
  • 2.5 hours per session.

Canadian Mental Health Association Depression and Anxiety Education and Management Workshops.

  • Individuals, families, caregivers, and community support partners are encouraged to participate.
